WealthPulse has no accounts, no sign-ups, and no mailing list. Here is exactly what happens to your information when you visit.

We do not ask for your name, your email, or any account. We never see the numbers you type into our calculators — they stay in your browser. We do use Google Analytics to count visits and Google AdSense to show ads, and both set cookies. You can opt out of personalized ads at any time using the links below.
WealthPulse is a free financial education website operated by SmartMoney. You can reach us on X/Twitter at @SmartMoneyF. This policy covers the website at wealthpulse.net.
None. There is no sign-up, no login, no newsletter, and no contact form anywhere on this site. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or postal address, because we never ask for them.
Every tool on this site — the debt payoff calculator, the retirement calculator, the mortgage and affordability tools, the financial health quiz, and the challenge trackers — runs entirely inside your own web browser. The figures you enter are used to compute your result on screen and are never transmitted to us or to anyone else. We do not store them, and we could not retrieve them if we wanted to. Closing or refreshing the page clears them.
The spreadsheets and PDF guides download directly to your device. Once a file is on your computer, whatever you put into it stays there. We receive nothing back from it.
Like nearly all websites, our host and the third-party services below receive certain technical information automatically when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, the page you are viewing, and the page that referred you.
We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages are popular, and roughly where visitors come from. It reports to us only in aggregate — we cannot see individual people. Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish one visit from another. You can read Google’s Privacy Policy, and you can block it entirely with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
This site displays ads served by Google AdSense, which is how we keep every tool on WealthPulse free.
Third-party vendors and ad networks other than Google may also serve ads through AdSense. We do not control which ads are shown, and an ad appearing on WealthPulse is not an endorsement by us. Be especially careful with financial products advertised to you — we have no relationship with those advertisers and have not vetted them.
Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those font files from Google’s servers, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
This site is hosted on Netlify, which keeps standard server logs of requests made to it.
Some pages link to Cash App, Venmo, X/Twitter, and Facebook. These are ordinary links — nothing is shared with those services unless you click through, and once you do, their own privacy policies apply, not ours.
The cookies set on this site come from Google Analytics and Google AdSense, as described above. WealthPulse itself does not set any cookies of its own, and it does not store anything in your browser’s local storage.
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking them will not break any tool on this site — the calculators, quiz, and challenges will keep working normally.
Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is still no industry-wide agreement on how sites should respond to it, so this site does not currently change its behavior based on that signal.
Because we hold no personal information about you, there is nothing for us to look up, export, correct, or delete on request — we simply do not have it.
The data collected by Google through Analytics and AdSense is governed by Google’s own privacy policy, and rights under laws such as the GDPR (Europe and the UK) or the CCPA/CPRA (California) — including the right to access, delete, or opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — would be exercised with Google or through the advertising opt-out links above. If you are in the EEA or UK, Google may ask for your consent to personalized advertising before serving ads.
WealthPulse is meant for adults managing household finances and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children — and since we collect no personal information from anyone, there is nothing for a child to submit to us.
Everything on WealthPulse is general financial education. Nothing here is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and nothing here is tailored to your particular circumstances. Always consult a qualified professional before making decisions about your money.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new “last updated” date at the top of the page.
